About the Role
Join a specialist maintenance team supporting critical crane operations at a major UK manufacturing site. You’ll maintain, overhaul, and repair overhead travelling cranes essential to material movement in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on overhead cranes.
• Conduct mechanical repairs using schematics and technical drawings.
• Fabricate spare parts and refurbish existing machinery.
• Complete safety audits and risk assessments.
• Support site maintenance during production downtime.

Requirements

• Experienced mechanical fitter from steel, construction, or heavy industry.
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Confidence to challenge unsafe practices and promote high safety standards.
