Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

 

Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with customers to establish and document user requirements and technical specifications.

Resource Allocation: Assign resources effectively, considering team members’ skills and experience to meet project goals.

Team Coordination: Lead and guide a team of engineers and designers, providing oversight and technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all engineering design outputs meet company quality standards and comply with procedures.

Technical Investigation: Conduct engineering studies and generate reports to support project objectives.

Project Delivery: Manage projects to achieve cost-effectiveness and timely completion while adhering to budgets and timelines.

Industry Awareness: Stay informed on technological advancements and industry trends to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

 

Industry Experience: Proven experience in regulated, quality-assured environments, ideally within the nuclear sector.

Design Expertise: Significant experience in design roles with demonstrable knowledge of relevant engineering disciplines.

Specialisation: Expertise in specialized engineering areas with a track record of applying knowledge effectively.

Leadership Skills: Ability to lead engineering functions, influence teams, and act as a custodian of technical expertise.

Project Management: Skilled in delivering engineering work packages and managing a portfolio of projects and programs.
