Salary: upto £65k plus car allowance
Basic Hours: 40 hours Monday to Friday

Are you an experienced Mechanical Estimator looking for an exciting opportunity with a leading mechanical and electrical contractor? Our client, based in Liverpool, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for mechanical projects across various sectors.
- Reviewing project specifications, drawings, and designs to ensure accurate pricing.
- Working closely with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather and negotiate quotes.
- Providing value engineering solutions to optimize project efficiency and cost.
- Supporting the tender process by producing competitive and profitable estimates.
- Keeping up to date with market trends, pricing, and material costs to ensure the accuracy of estimates.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and services (HVAC, piping, plumbing, etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of estimating software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized, with attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- HND, HNC, or a relevant mechanical engineering qualification is desirable.
