Position Overview
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions within a regulated and quality-assured environment. Key Responsibilities

- Team Coordination: Lead and guide a team of engineers and designers, providing oversight and technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all engineering design outputs meet company quality standards and comply with relevant procedures.
- Technical Investigation: Conduct engineering studies and investigations, generating insightful reports to support project goals.
- Project Delivery: Manage projects to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely completion, adhering to budget constraints and timelines.
- Industry Awareness: Stay informed on technological advancements and industry trends to continually enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in a regulated, quality-assured system, ideally within the nuclear sector.
- Design Expertise: Significant experience in roles focused on design, with demonstrable knowledge in relevant engineering disciplines.
- Specialisation: Expertise in specialized engineering areas, with a track record of effectively applying this knowledge in practical settings.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead engineering functions and act as a custodian of expertise, with experience influencing and guiding engineering teams.
- Project Management: Skilled in delivering engineering work packages successfully, with a strategic approach to guiding and managing a portfolio of projects and programs.
